  Presence of humidity on ingots may cause explosion at melting when charged on liquid metal.

  Ingots blocks are non-flammable, non-combustible.

    • As hot Zn: Risk of explosion.
    • As cold Zn: Risk of rust/oxidation.

  • 4.1. Instalation

    Melted Zinc vapor may cause fever, muscles ache and nausea. Good ventilation is recommended. If inhalation occurs, check with your Physician and rest for a 24 hours period.

    Molten Zinc spills may cause burns. A Doctor must be consulted urgently.

    Use always dry sand or D class firefighter products.

    Never use water on molten or very hot metal, as it may cause liquid Zinc explosion or spills. Water is safe if it is spoiled on cold Zinc ingots.
